Team Ireland arrived in Italy today after an early flight from Dublin Airport – picture of squad at Rome Airport this morning – ahead of the start of the 2017 European Union Elite Women’s Championships in Cascia, Italy tomorrow.

Boxing begins tomorrow afternoon at the tournament.
The host nation Bulgaria, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Lithuania, Moldova, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Turkey, Wales, Holland and Montenegro have registered to compete.
A press conference will be held Saturday prior to the start of boxing that afternoon at the Palazzetto Gym. The competition period is from August 5th to August 12th.
