IRISH SQUAD FOR MINSK MULTI-NATIONS

Ireland has named a seven-strong squad for the 16th edition of the Elite Liventsev Memorial in Minsk, Belarus.

The Elite tournament is a preparation event for the 2019 multi-sport European Games in the Belarusian capital.

Hosts Belarus, China, Croatia, England, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, France, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Serbia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Wales will feature.

Boxing begins today in Minsk.

Olympic champion Michael Carruth and Eoin Pluck will be working Ireland’s corner.
