The Leinster Development Squad (LDS) are on the move again for their 21st trip away, when they travel to Pasvalys in Lithuania for a multi-nations tournament.
The team leaves Wednesday and returns next Sunday, 22nd April.
This tournament is now an annual event for the LDS and everyone is looking forward to it and expecting to bring home some medals.
Last year, the six-strong LDS squad claimed an impressive haul of two gold, three silver and one bronze.
This year, the LDS have five boxers taking part – Sean Ruth (Marble City), Darragh Gilroy (Ballymore/Hollywood), Michael McDonagh (Navan), Lee Mackin (Dealgan) and David McDonagh (Navan),
The coach/team manager is Vicktor Kuzmenko (Spartacus) and coach Richie Ruth (Marble City).
“All members of the Leinster Development Squad wish our team every success and a safe journey,” said Mick Darby.
