The Irish Athletic Boxing Association invites all media to today’s (October 18th) homecoming from the European Junior Men’s and Women’s Championships in Anapa, Russia.
The team are due to arrive home via Dublin Airport at 12.05 pm this afternoon (Terminal 1).
Ireland won 13 medals – 2 gold, 3 silver and 8 bronze – and finished in 3rd spot in the medals table at the 31-nation tournament.
Dearbhla Rooney also won bronze at the Youth Olympics last night to complete a memorable week for Irish boxing.
