Boxing clubs invited to take part in Get Ireland Active survey.

Sport Ireland leads out on the development of Get Ireland Active, Ireland’s first national database for sport and recreation amenities. This interactive website is designed to connect the public with opportunities to get active, and it will also be a vital resource for national and local stakeholders.

The database offers up-to-date, accurate information on where and how to participate in sport and recreation across Ireland, including public places, trails, and amenities.

The Government has ambitious targets to increase physical activity and Get Ireland Active is the primary portal for informing the public. Crucially, this database will also be used to support future reviews of investment strategies in facility development and associated grants.

To ensure your club is accurately represented and can benefit from this initiative, Sport Ireland is requesting your club to complete the Get Ireland Active Survey.

This survey asks a variety of questions about your club and will:

  • Allow us to provide stronger, more detailed information to the public about your offerings.
  • Integrate vital information about your sport into the system’s analysis tools, helping to inform broader sport development and investment decisions.

In return, your club will be advertised on the Get Ireland Active website, increasing your visibility and reach.

The survey will take less than 10 minutes to complete.

Please submit your club’s survey by 5:00 PM on June 20th.
