The event will be hosted in Boras from February 2nd to February 4th in all classes and age groups.

Leinster enjoyed a tremendous outing at the Golden Girl Championships earlier this year, with Mary Geraghty claiming gold and Katelynn Phelan, the current AIBA World Youth bronze medallist, taking home silver.

Dianna Moorehouse, Lauren Dempsey and Mary Kate Nevin are also Golden Girl defending champions as the trio won their Junior finals at the last edition. Lauren Ryan secured silver.

Assessments for Level 1 coaching courses will take place on the 16^th December and 17^th December 2017 in the following venues for all coaches that attended the Level 1 coaching courses in 2016 and 2017

Paulstown Boxing Club, Paulstown, Co Kilkenny Sunday 17^th December 2017 Time 10am – 1pm

St Saviours Boxing Club, 50 Mc Kee Avenue, Finglas, Dublin 11 Saturday 16^th December 2017 Time 10am – 1pm

Irish squad and staff – World Women’s Youths 2017

International and multi-nation results 2017

The total medal haul is 17 = 9 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze. Combined with the silverware secured in World and European competition in 2017, Irish boxing has claimed 46 medals at all levels, male and female.

Irish boxing has never been outside the top ten in the medals table en route to a combined count of 14 gold, 11 silver and 21 bronze at World, European and multi-nation level over the last twelve months.
