The IABA is seeking to recruit new members to it’s National Safeguarding Committee for the 2023/2024 season. This voluntary committee is responsible for overseeing safeguarding procedures throughout the Association.
This rewarding role is vital in ensuring young athletes can partake in the sport they love in a safe and supportive environment. Over three quarters of all boxers in clubs throughout the association are under the age of 18.
The Committee meets on a 6-week basis online for approximately 1 hour.
Applicants should have a background in coaching, be vetted and have a safeguarding qualification. The IABA is particularly interested in hearing from female applicants. Applicants should complete the Expression of Interest form, here
