The Portlaoise BC middleweight meets Moldova’s Andrei Vreme in the last 64 on Monday.
Current European Elite Champion Kurt Walker, the No. 6 seed on the Eurasian border, received a bye into the last 32 and awaits the winner of the Sam Kistohurry versus David Avila bout.
87 nations went into the hat for today’s draw at the 20th edition of the tournament.
Boxing begins at 11am (Irish time) tomorrow morning and Nevin versus Vreme is the 4th bout on the program.
