LEINSTER C’SHIPS SCHEDULED FOR THIS WEEKEND

 

Leinster boxing is building up toward a marathon weekend of competition at their provincial Boy 1,2,3 Championships.

68 bouts will be decided at the Ryston BC in Newbridge, Kildare this Friday and Saturday in the lead up to the National Championships.

Boxing begins at 7pm sharp on Friday evening. The finals will be decided on Sunday at the Ryston club.

CHEMISTRY CUP UPDATE

 

Team Ireland finish up their training camp at the German Olympic Centre in Kienbaum today ahead of the start of the Chemistry Cup in Cologne on Wednesday.

The Irish panel leave for Cologne this afternoon.

The squad trained and sparred with the host nation, Canada, Poland, Switzerland and Russia near Brandenburg.

21 nations are slated to compete at the Chemistry Cup which officially begins tomorrow. Boxing starts on Wednesday.
