TO ALL COACHES who have completed a Level 1 Coach Education Course from 2016,2017,and 2018 but have yet to complete their assessment.

If you are still involved with your club can you please return your assessment forms, signed by your club secretary/head coach and the €30 fee so I can have you registered on Sport Ireland’s database

We have made a number of attempts to facilitate you in this regard but for various reasons you have been unable to participate

Please note that if on this occasion the completed forms are not returned by the 30th November 2018 for the attention of Stephen Connolly, National Stadium, 145 South Circular Road, Dublin 8 your name will be deleted and you will not be permitted to carry out any duties as a coach.

IRELAND V WALES RETURN MATCH

 

 

Ireland send a team to Cardiff this weekend to tackle Wales in a return match after the recent meetings in Wexford.

All boxers and officials are advised to be at the National Boxing Stadium on Friday morning at 5am for a bus departure to Roslare. The team will then travel by boat to Fishguard and on to Cardiff for the final destination and weigh-in.

The International starts on Saturday in the Sports Wales National Centre (CF119SW) at 12 noon. Following the contests, the team will return to Fishguard for a sailing back to Roslare for 5:30am and then onwards to the National Boxing Stadium for 8/8:30am on Sunday morning.

Boxers are asked to arrive at the National Stadium on Friday morning with their blue vest and shorts, blue headguard and their boxing record/medical book.

IRELAND TRAIN IN GERMANY AHEAD OF WORLD ELITES

Irish squad in Germany

 

Team Ireland are putting the finishing touches to their preparations for the World Women’s Elite Championships in India in Germany.

The six-strong team are training with the host nation, Greece, Great Britain, Sweden and USA at the German Olympic and Paralympic Sport Centre in Kienbaum, about 35km east of Berlin.

The panel are into their third day at the camp ahead of the start of the World Championships which begin in New Delhi on November 15.

Seeding will be in operation at the 10th edition of the tournament.
