18 clubs attended the third in a series of EGM Info Meetings in Connacht on Thursday evening, led by IABA Board of Directors Chair, Niall O’Carroll.
Also present were IABA Directors Tom Geraghty and Fiona Hennigan, as well as President of the Connaught Council, Sean Clancy.
The Info Meeting series is designed to enable clubs to hear all available information, and to pose any questions they may have. This evening’s meeting lasted just over 2 hours.
As indicated in early June following the IOC’s recommendation from the IOC Executive Board to IOC Session to withdraw recognition of the International Boxing Association, IABA clubs will have the opportunity to consider alternative partnerships. Formal notice of the time, date and location of the EGM will issue in the coming days.
