2 Team Ireland Boxers Vie To Up-Grade From Bronze In Men’s European Championship Semi Finals.

Two Team Ireland boxers step between the ropes in Yerevan today to contest Men’s European Championship semi-finals.

Bantamweight Dylan Eagleson is the first Irish boxer in action today; he meets Buglaria’s Daniel Panev Asenov in bout 4 of the afternoon session, beginning at 11am, Irish time.

Middleweight, Gabriel Dossen, is in an hour later, in bout 9 of the same ring and session, against Italy’s Salvatore Cavallero.

Dylan, of St. Paul’s Belfast, claimed at least a bronze medal following quarter final victory over Spain’s Gabriel Masunano Escobar. The judges scored the bout 29:28, 29:28, 28:29, 29:28, 30:27. While Gabriel, of Olympic BC, Galway, contested his QF against Norway’s Mindaugas Gedminas. The judges scored the bout 28:29, 27:30, 27:30, 27:30, 29:28.
