Team Ireland at the 2017 European Championships in the Ukraine dominated June, with Joe Ward (gold), Brendan Irvine (bronze) and Kurt Walker (bronze) finishing in podium positions.
Ward, Irvine, Walker and Sean McComb also qualified for the World Championships in Hamburg, Germany courtesy of reaching the quarter-finals at the Europeans.
Ward, now a three-time European champion, claimed the Irish Independent SportsStar of the Month for June after his performances in the Ukraine.
