9 Team Ireland boxers in QF action at Eindhoven Box Cup

9 Team Ireland boxers are in action on the opening day of the Eindhoven Box Cup, hosted by the Dutch Boxing Federation.

Over 20 countries are contesting the tournament, which culminates on Monday.

57kg Donagh Keary opens Ireland’s account against Germany in Ring A’s afternoon session, followed by 60kg Rhys Owens against Hungary. In Ring B this afternoon, 51kg Clepson dos Santos meets Sweden – and so, too, does 57kg Dylan Eagleson. 50kg: Caitlyn Fryers takes on PRT in the same ring and session, which will be followed by the meeting of 54kg: Rachel Lawless and DNK. In Ring A’s evening session, 75kg Gavin Rafferty boxes Belgium, and in Ring B, 63.5kg Shamie (James) McDonagh take on Ukraine. 67kg Gareth Dowling meets DNK.
