Lauren Hogan and Grainne Walsh will be in action at the European Women’s Elite Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria today.

 

The Irish light-fly and welter are out in the 3rd and 11th bouts on today’s program at the Sport Hall in the Bulgarian capital versus Russia and Serbia.

 

Boxing begins at 1pm (Irish time).

 

World Elite silver medallist Kellie Harrington will be keeping an eye on this afternoon’s clash between Aleksandra Ordina (Russia) and Lina Skoghgen (Sweden). The winner will face the Dubliner on Friday.

 

Elsewhere today, the nine-strong Irish team go into the hat for the draw for the AIBA World Youths Championships in St Petersburg, Russia.
