Rio 2016 Olympian Steven Donnelly weighed-in this morning at 68.9kg for his World Series of Boxing (WSB) five-rounder in Poland tomorrow evening.

The All Saints BC welterweight, boxing gof the Hussars of Poland in the WSB, goes head-to-head with Argentina’s Maximiliano Ocampo in Krakow.

Nineteen-year-old Ocampo has lost one WSB fight this season in the WSB, as has Donnelly, albeit against Hungary’s ex European Elite champion Balaz Bacskai in his first outing of 2016 following an explosive encounter in Venezuela in February.

The Hussars are bottom of the table in Group C still searching for their first win of the season.

Irish coach Dmitry Dmitruk will be working Donnelly’s corner in Krakow.

Donnelly qualified for Rio 2016 boxing for the Hussars of Poland in the WSB last season.
