The draws have taken place for the World Junior Championships, being held in Yerevan, Armenia.
345 boxers are contesting the competition, of whom 11 are representing Team Ireland. Today’s draw has created the first Irish medalist of the tournament, in 63Kg Siofra Lawless of Four Kings BC. She will come home with at least a bronze medal.
