Ten Irish boxers will be aiming to upgrade their guaranteed bronze medals to at least silver at Monday’s European Schoolboy semi-finals in Valcea, Romania.


The semi-finals will be decided over two sessions beginning at 1pm and 4.30pm (Irish times) Monday.


The finals will be decided on Tuesday.

Team Ireland had a light training session in Valcea today ahead of a busy schedule for team manager Peter O’Donnell and coaches Stephen McElhinney, Paddy Gallagher and Liam Brereton.


Ireland are due to arrive home on Wednesday morning at 11.45am via Dublin Airport
