The Irish Athletic Boxing Association extends its deepest sympathies to the Purcell family following the death of Dr Martin Purcell.
The late Mr Purcell was a member of the IABA Medical Commission, the Irish Universities Amateur Boxing Association, UCD Boxing and worked with the Dublin County Board. He was also the doctor at the National Stadium for numerous national and international tournaments.
May he rest in eternal peace.
