IRELAND ARRIVE IN NEW DELHI

 

Team Ireland arrived in India overnight ahead of the start of the 2018 AIBA World Elite Women’s Championships.

Boxing begins Thursday at the Indira Ghandi Stadium, pictured above, in New Delhi.

72 nations are registered to participate in the 10th edition of the tournament.

The squad are ready for action, according to Grainne Walsh on social media.

“All the hard work has been completed, looking forward to getting started and chasing my dream.”

New Delhi is five and a half hours ahead of Ireland. Temperatures average 25 degrees around this time of year in the Indian city.
