Russia, England and Ireland, in that order, finished in the top three in the rankings table at the 31-nation European Junior Men’s and Women’s Championships in Russia.

Eleven nations shared the gold medals.
Ireland, using a 25-strong squad, won 27 of 50 bouts, averaged 2.0 bouts per athlete and secured 2 gold, 3 silver and 8 bronze medals.
Team Ireland are due to arrive home from Anapa via Dublin Airport at 12.05pm on Thursday afternoon (Terminal 1).
