
Team Ireland training at University of Ulster.
Team Ireland meet Ulster High Performance, England and Scotland in a test match in Girwood Hub, Belfast tonight,October 27th.
The nine-strong Irish team, who have already completed a training camp at Dublin’s National Stadium, are training and sparring with Ulster and the visitors at the University of Ulster in Jordanstown, preparing for next month’s AIBA World Youth Championships in St Petersburg, Russia.
The panel finish up in Jordanstown on Friday evening and fly out to Russia next Wednesday for their final training camp with the host nation and Cuba in Moscow.
Team Ireland leave the Russian capital by rail for St Petersburg on November 14th ahead of the start of the World Youths three days later.
Over 400 boxers representing 70 nations including Ireland have entered.
Thursday’s test match begins at 6pm.
