Ireland meet an England Boxing Southern Counties selection in Woking on the outskirts of London on Friday night.

Recently crowned Irish Elite champion Martin Keenan is in against Tommy Walsh at the Hilton Hotel.

Cheyanne O’Neill faces an opponent, Alanna Audley-Murphy, that helped create a piece of Irish boxing history.

Audley-Murphy, who has claimed a European Union medal for Ireland, met Katie Taylor in the first officially sanctioned IABA women’s bout at Dublin’s National Stadium in 2001.

The Irish squad leave for England tomorrow afternoon and return Saturday. Boxing begins at 7.30pm on Friday.
