IRISH SQUAD NAMED FOR PAVLYUKOV MEMORIAL IN RUSSIA

The Irish Athletic Boxing Association have confirmed a seven-strong squad for the Pavlyukov Youth Memorial in Anapa, Russia next month.

 

Team Ireland will train and spar with the host country, Cuba, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Scotland and a number of other nations at the Black Sea port before the competition begins on March 14th.

World Youth bronze medallist Gabriel Dossen, pictured, and World Junior silver medallists Eamer Coughlan and Paddy Donovan have been named on the Irish team for the top tournament often cited as a “Mini World Youth Championships.”

 

Team Ireland leave for Anapa on March 6th.
