The Leinster Development Squad (LDS) and Leinster Provincial Council are holding a Multi-Nations Club Tournament in the Ryston boxing club Newbridge on Saturday/Sunday the 21st and 22nd October 2017.

Boxing starts each day at 1200 hrs.

“We have boxers coming from Russia,Lithuania,Poland,Ukraine,Germany for this tournament, said Leinster Development Squad manager Mick Darby.

“We are holding the tournament in order to invite boxers and officials from the clubs in the countries that have invited us, the Leinster Development Squad, boxers and officials over the last five years.

“Most of their tournaments are now annual events for us.So now we give them an opportunity to visit our country and take part in a tournament with us.We have approximately 33 Semi-Finals down for decision on Saturday the 21st and approximately 37 contests between finals and box-offs for bronze medal positions.”

The weigh-in is at the Ryston Club in Newbridge between 8am and 9am, according to LDS social media.

Boxers must have €20.00 tournament registration fee and their medical record card for handing in at the weigh-in.Boxers will use red and blue Singlets for this tournament.

Passes for boxers own club coach will be given out at the weigh-in.Only one coach from boxers’ club will get a pass.Draw will be finalized at 1100 hrs and programmes given out. Programmes for the following day will be given out about 30 minutes after boxing has finished on Saturday evening.
