Gabriel Dossan won the first National title of 2018 tonight

One semi-final and final was decided tonight, with Galway middleweight Gabriel Dossan claiming the first National belt of 2018 on a unanimous decision over Drogheda’s Chris O’Reilly at the National Stadium.

Shauna Blaney won her semi-final this evening to progress to Saturday’s feathereight final versus Labhaoise Clarke.

Boxing begins at 12 noon Saturday. The tournament is being run in conjunction with the U/18 Open which concludes tonight.

Saturday’s weigh-ins times: 8am to 9am at the National Stadium.
