The new IABA 1 Coach Education Programme aims to provide women with the skills and confidence to coach in their clubs.
AIBA World Elite silver medallist Kellie Harrington launched Saturday’s programme.
The courses, which are starting in Dublin, Kilkenny and Wexford, were booked out within three days, with record numbers of females coming forward to avail of the first ever female Coach Education Programme.
Over 50 clubs from all over Ireland are being represented during the programmes.
