SCHOOLBOY SUMMER CAMP – FINAL CALL

Are you entering the Senior Cadets? Then this may be just what you need!

The last call is issued now for boxers wanting to attend the schoolboys Summer Camp in Lough Lannagh, Castlebar, Co.Mayo. A few places still remain and they may be particularly suitable for boxers getting ready for the Cadets as they’ll be looking for good sparring. Alternatively, if you feel that you are falling short of winning those elusive titles, this camp may give you the final piece of the jigsaw.

The camp cost is €400 and this is full board – 3 meals per day plus all the coaching and full use of the facilities.

To secure your place on the camp, you need to contact Sally in the National Boxing Stadium 01-4543525 and pay your money. All boxers who have paid deposits now need to issue the full payment before noon this Friday. All other enquiries to camp coordinator Paddy Gallagher at 087-6286269 or paddythegaa59@gmail.com.As the weather is going to be a little mixed during the camp, boxers are asked to bring wet weather clothes as well as indoor clothes for training. A warm wolly hat and rain jacket is essential for the morning runs and track sessions. The usual boxing gear should also be brought – good quality 16oz sparring gloves, headguard, groin guard, skipping rope, wraps/bandages, bag gloves, gumshield, water bottle and a towel.

Boxers attending the camp meet in Lough Lannagh at 2pm on Sunday July 29th and depart from there at 2pm on Friday, August 3rd.
